What is OnlyFans?
OnlyFans has been around since 2016 and it's best known for being used by sex workers, though celebrities and fitness gurus have also used it to show a secret side or provide their services. Some TikTok creators also point their followers to OnlyFans, where they promise exclusive content in exchange for money.
Can pirates steal your OnlyFans content and post it online?
The short answer is: yes. OnlyFans did its best to protect creators but there is no way to stop a pirate masquerading as a normal fan. Every new subscriber could be a malicious actor and there is nothing you can do about it. They can choose to do this for free or even sell it. OnlyFans had its share of security issues and hacked accounts but it's way more likely for someone to just subscribe and leak your content than to have the skills needed to takeover your account. As an OnlyFans model you may also be the target of phishing: some hackers may try to target you and fabricate emails and sms that seems to originate from OnlyFans. When in doubt, always double check the email is coming from onlyfans.com and that the security flag is set to "Standard encryption (TLS)".
My content has been stolen. What can I do?
You need to find the infringing content, understand which entities are responsible (the website owner, the website provider, the file hosting provider) and send detailed DMCA takedown requests. Or you can simply subscribe to leaksDOWN and we'll take care of it for you.
